Kentucky Flood donation effort
We all have seen the images of the recent flood in Kentucky, and I feel like this would be a good time to get some donations going again. The statebird of Kentucky is the Northern Cardinal, so the King of the Yard will be the symbol for this one. Because of you, I was able to make a 400 Dollar donation towards the relief efforts of World Central Kitchen (wck.org) this morning. The are on the ground and help people by providing nutritious food. I decided to go with them because I am a food lover, I know how important a full belly is and also because I admire the work that WCK does. Donation effort for Ukraine
I do feel helpless watching what is going on in Ukraine, so I have decided to try and help with what is in my powers. I created a Ukraine donation sticker, and all proceeds from the sales of that sticker I will donate to the Red Cross efforts to help Ukraine. There are two stickers available, one is just my logo, the other one is in the Ukraine flag colors. You can find my shop on Redbubble here: ostdrossel.redbubble.com, I made the stickers the featured collection. Please note, Redbubble pays by month and only if you have reached a certain threshold. I have two more Ukrainian-based organizations to possibly donate to on my radar but it is unclear if they will actually receive the money and use it because of the war, so the Red Cross it is for the time being.
We had planned
for a while to make physical donations to help the homeless in our area but since COVID is still ravaging, we have decided to donate the money instead to help those who distribute food to people who cannot afford it, and do that more efficiently than we ever could. So this donation went to World Central Kitchen. You can read all about their inspiring efforts on their website, https://wck.org/. We will continue to try and support those who are less fortunate than us by donating portions of the profits from Ostdrossel mask sales. New mask style on Redbubble
Redbubble has made fitted masks available, and I have added a couple to the shop too. They can be found here: ostdrossel.redbubble.com, but I am also linking the photos below. Code DEALS2020 takes off between 20 and 60% of selected products there all weekend, according to Redbubble. Profits of these will go into the donation bucket.
Donation to Feeding America
Thanks to your generosity, I was able to donate $46 to Feeding America today. The next donation will go to the Center for Disaster Philanthropy. Check out all available face masks (and other cool stuff) in my Redbubble shop or here at ostdrossel.com.

Donation to the Native American Rights Fund
Thanks to all of you and your generosity, I was able to donate $243 to the Native American Rights Fund. The profits of the current mask sales with go to Feeding America again.
