This year has been ripe
with a wonderful natural phenomenon, the almighty aurora borealis. I spent a semester in Finland once, hoping to see it, but to no avail, and only now here in Michigan was I able to witness this magic for the first time. It happened earlier in the summer but also again right now. So I have been putting the camera out for timelapses. We are a bit too close to civilization for the really fun stuff but you can still see it, even just using my tiny little action camera. Here is a photo from last night. Isn’t nature magical?
