Summer is well under way,
and the garden is going crazy this year. The Blue Jays had a really good nesting season, and their youngsters are all around right now. In my efforts to capture baby birds, I also get some critters, and this squirrel was especially cheeky. Live streams will be down for the next couple of days for maintenance but back late Tuesday.
Livestream PSA
I have several Birdsy cameras in my yard that I am livestreaming in different spots. The main bath/ pond in the summer can be watched here on my website but also on BirdsyTV. The Tree cam and the green bath cam are livestreaming on that website as well, I am going to post links below. You can give my channels and cams and also videos a like there too. The website will eventually grow but there are already several cams public there. My own livecams change throughout the year, I may move them around, activate and deactivate per my needs. But here is how you find them:

As you may know, I have been testing and using Birdsy cameras for a while now - I use them for my videos as well as for my livestream. Well, I am happy to annouce that Birdsy has now launched BirdsyTV. It is a platform where you can watch Birdsy live cams and videos from all over the world, and you don’t need an account. They are still improving things, and new features will be added, and of course the community will grow. My stream and selected videos are there too. I am happy to let you know that the livestream is finally back working. There is still not a lot of traffic right now but hopefully things will pick up and we get a nice long end of summer. Happy Labor Day!

There is a lot of snow and it is cold but the livestream is back. You can find it here in the livestream section. I know Germany also has very wintery weather right now, and I am sending warm greetings! Stay warm, everyone!

To honor this special occasion, I have switched the livestream to the hummer station today. The feeder has been busy all morning, so I hope we get to see some activity. Have a beautiful Saturday!
Video: Ragnar and two babies at the pool
I heard them yesterday but they didn’t come down, but today was the big day. Ragnar and Lagertha, the Bluebirds, brought their first set of babies to the backyard (her new nest is almost done too). I saw three, but I was keeping a distance, so I am not sure how many there are. They are as adorable as ever, and my heart is full of joy. Ragnar made a big display at the pool too, showing that wonderful slow moving of the wings that is so typical for Bluebirds. The baby bunny, a baby Robin and the baby Grack also paid a visit, and I think the livestream is going to be a lot of fun in the coming weeks.

A cute new visitor has shown up in the garden, and I spotted it on the livestream just now. A tiny adorable baby bunny! I have been a little slow with photos lately, and I am sorry about that. The yard is still comparatively quiet because most birds are nesting right now, and we have been busy getting our veggie beds and the garden in shape. I have seen some hummingbirds around too, and I hope they will become more frequent and stop being so camera shy. The ghostly noises you hear on the livestream are the Starling babies. They have started to hang around yesterday and are basically heralding the arrival of the bird babies. I am also on the lookout for the Bluebird gang. So good things and more photos are coming soon, hopefully. In about two weeks, I will also make the first donation to Feeding America. I hope everyone has a splendid Monday!
Livestream: at the bird bath
The livestream today comes from the bird bath, and I hope you enjoy. It is rather windy, so maybe turn the sound down. In the meantime, I heard that Orioles were seen in Michigan today, but I have seen nothing here yet. The masks in the Zazzle store are still stuck in “under review” but since it’s been more than four days now, I assume they don’t work during the weekend and they will be available tomorrow.
